Balance & Bone Health Exercise Classes

The Balance & Bone Health Class is a dynamic 60-minute circuit training session designed to enhance your overall well-being. Utilising a wide array of gym equipment, including bikes, balls, weights, rowing machines, and reformers, this class offers a comprehensive workout under the expert guidance of a physiotherapist.

 

Class Overview:

  1. Warm-Up: Kick off the session with an invigorating warm-up set to music, getting your blood flowing and muscles ready.
  2. Circuit Stations: Our experienced physiotherapist will demonstrate each exercise at various stations, ensuring you understand the movements and benefits.
  3. Station Rotation: Spend approximately 2 minutes at each station before moving on to the next, keeping the workout varied and engaging.
  4. Personalised Guidance: Throughout the class, the physiotherapist will monitor and correct your technique, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience.
  5. Varied Exercises: The exercises are regularly updated to keep the sessions fresh and continually challenge your body, helping you achieve your fitness goals.

Who Should Join:

This class is suitable for all adults, regardless of fitness level. Both men and women will find the class beneficial. Most of our current attendees tend to be between 50 – 70 years old, but all adults are welcome.

Pre-Class Requirement:

A 30-minute ‘Class-Ready’ assessment is required before joining. This assessment ensures the class is tailored to your needs and is conducted by our physiotherapists, Molly, Khoi, Sophie or Fiona.

Class Schedule:

Our classes run everyday from our large gym at our Claremont Physio Clinic – 26 Brown Street, Claremont.

  • Monday: 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM
  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM & 8:30 AM
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM
  • Thursday: 7:30 AM & 8:30 AM & 9.30 AM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM
